Dr. Moataz (Taz) Elkasrawy
Dr. Moataz Elkasrawy, known to his patients and friends as Taz, is the founder and practice lead of Elk Dental Decatur and one of the most uniquely credentialed dentists in Decatur, GA. A graduate of the University of Colorado Denver School of Dental Medicine and holder of a PhD in biomedical sciences from the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Elkasrawy brings advanced expertise in implant dentistry, aesthetic dentistry, and facial esthetics to every patient he sees. He is certified by the NYU Rosenthal Institute of Aesthetic Dentistry, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and is currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Sustainability from Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business.
Beyond his clinical credentials, Dr. Elkasrawy is a passionate advocate for sustainable healthcare, a volunteer with Global Dental Relief and Smiles for Guatemala, and a dentist who measures success not by procedures completed but by lives genuinely improved.
